| How do I watch the videos? |
Just click the image to the right of the description. It should launch YouTube and play the video.
When you are done watching that video, close the YouTube tab on your browser and you should return to this screen.

| Should I use the Download link? |
Most people won't need the download link, but it might be helpful in a few circumstances, for example:
- You want to view the video someplace that doesn't have an Internet connection available.
- You are using a slow Internet connection and the videos are buffering a lot.
- You want to make your own videos or video segments, maybe for a birthday or anniversary party.
- You want to save the videos to a platform other than YouTube.
- You would like to have your own copy to protect against outages at YouTube.
The download links provided for videos marked "unedited" are the originals right from the firm that did the digitization.
They have have not been down-sampled in any way and should work great for creating derivative works, archiving, or uploading to the platform of your choice.
The files are very large so make sure you have plenty of room on your device before you begin downloading and allow plenty of time for downloads to complete.

| I can't find these videos on YouTube when I search on there. |
This is intentional.
We decided to initially set the videos to "Unlisted" to protect the privacy of the people in the videos.
They are only viewable if you have the link, such as the links on this page. They also do not show up on the YouTube "Channel" page.
You can revisit this page any time to navigate to any video.

This setting can be changed on each video individually.
If you and the others in the video have no objections to the video being made public, and/or if everyone in the video has sadly passed on, let us know and we would be happy to change it to public and make it easier for everyone to find and access.

| Where did the videos come from? |
Most of these videos were created by Ray and Ken Delopst in the 60's, 70's and 80's.
Wanda Delopst was kind enough to send us the 8mm Reels that Ken had in his possession, and we had a local firm professionally digitize them. |
| Where did the descriptions come from? |
For the first version we have just typed out what was written on the outside of the reel, exactly as it was written.
We haven't watched most of the videos yet but we hope to do so and update the descriptions as time allows.
Please comment on YouTube with memories and/or enhanced descriptions - that helps more than you can imagine! |

Yes. We see this as a "work-in-progress".
We hope that people will comment on the videos and provide more information that will make this more helpful and interesting.
We would also like to split the videos apart into shorter, individual segments.
However, we thought it was most important to get these out there right away, even in a rough format, so that people can enjoy them immediately.
Check back as often as you like!
